Getting started with Tradetopia

Find a price

1. Search for an item

   On Home, search for the item you want to trade. For example, search for Heather Bush. Choose Heather Bush Seed if you're looking for seeds.

2. Check the price and date range

   The label below the price shows the date range and whether it includes buy offers, sell offers or both. The median is the middle price in that group.

3. Check how recent the offers are

   Check the dates of the listings used to calculate the price. If there are only a few offers, compare them with the original posts before trading.

Find a trader

1. Find buyers or sellers

   Under Recent listings, choose WTS to find sellers or WTB to find buyers.

2. Open a recent offer

   Set Period to Last 1D to see recent offers. Expand a listing and check the item, price unit, quantity and world before contacting the player.

Create an account and save items

1. Create an account

   Select Create account and enter a username, email address and password. Your password needs at least eight characters, including a letter and a number. Don't reuse your Growtopia or Discord password.

2. Verify your email

   Open the link in your verification email, or enter the email's code on Verify email. If it hasn't arrived, check your spam folder or select Resend verification email.

3. Save your item

   Open an item and select Save item → Add to watchlist. To see your saved items, open the tree menu and choose Watchlist.

Common trading terms

WTS / Sell offers

Players selling. Look here when you want to buy.

WTB / Buy offers

Players buying. Look here when you want to sell.

WL, DL, BGL

100 World Locks = 1 Diamond Lock. 100 DL = 1 Blue Gem Lock.

Items per WL

At 20 items per WL, 200 items cost 10 WL. More items per WL means a cheaper item.
